GPS in Samsung phones

Please share what you know about GPS feature in Samsung phones. Does it work? Are you able to use it here in Cebu? I'm planning to buy Samsung Galaxy Y Duos, but only if the GPS feature works (if it works on other samsung models, it must work it that model too )

The GPS 'works' but accuracy and lock speed may not be the best on Samsung phones as compared to Nokia or a GLONASS equipped IP4S, if GPS is a primary concern then I recommend you get the Galaxy Note or the Tab 7.7 both devices have GPS + GLONASS, it can beat the average dedicated GPS devices.

Thanks Earl, I was thinking how good it would be to buy a phone with GPS feature instead of just a gps device, which are costing around the same amount as the phone, but I can't afford Galaxy Note or the Galaxy Tab
