Cebit might not be the most prominent IT show these days, but it doesn't stop companies from announcing new products at the show and that's just what OCZ has said it will be doing. The company is getting ready to unveil its Vertex 4 series of SSDs based on its new Indilinx Everest 2 SSD controller which should prove to be competitive against SandForce's 2000-series of controllers.OCZ is making some bold claims about the Indilinx Everest 2 controller and its new Vertex 4 series of SSDs, in fact, the company goes as far as to say that its new SSDs will deliver “industry-leading performance and superior data management for all file types and sizes.” That's no small claim to uphold, so it'll be interesting to see what the company has to show.OCZ will also be showing a range of solutions for cloud computing and enterprise servers, including its Z-Drive R4 CloudServ PCI Express SSD which will be demoed at the show. Expect us to swing by the OCZ booth next week to take a look at the latest and greatest technology from the company and to see if the new Vertex 4 series can deliver on OCZ's claims.Source: OCZ
