Default RAM and graphic card questions

tinood bah nga ang RAM ,depende sa kind, maka pa gamay sa latencyor maka paspas sa pag load sa browser and start-up? if so, what ram kaha ang nindot pero barato lang, bisag di ingun nga high-end, daghan DDR3 2gb ram, bt lain2 ug prices, unsa kahay nindot but barato lang, im planning on getting 4x4gb ram, with 5kbudget, unsay ma suggest ninyu kaha

another question, i have a 2 gb ram DDR3 mounted, im running a 64 bit win7 ultimate, im planning to get 4pcs 4gb ddr5 ram, my mobo is MSI 880gm e43, di bako ma wad.an ug mga files

    last question, can i use a DDR5 as long as its PCI-E type?? which is better?? 2gb ddr3 256bit or 1gb ddr5 128bit??

Kani TS o, payts nani maka tipid paka..

Nya highest memory type.
Kung same brand ug unit na nga gpu imong g compare adto kos 2nd option nimo.. Para nako lang.

"browser and start-up" <--- SSD will solve this, if using mechanical drives it will still be slow from a cold boot.
"4pcs 4gb ddr5 ram" <--- I think this is for GPUs only, haven't seen DDR5 na ram sticks.
"Bus Width" <--- The amount of data your GPU can get from your VRAM, bigger is usually better

RAM para nako is Capacity > Latency > Frequency. Mas daghan RAM mas responsive jud imong PC, you won't feel the difference sa 1333mhz and 1600mhz kung regular use lang.

I really don't recommend installing a 64 bit OS with less than 4GB RAM. Naa difference ang 32bit and 64bit kernel and system files. Mas dagko ang 64bit, so samot ka kulang imong 2GB.

    OT: I got 4GB X 2 and 2GB X 4 DDR3 1333mhz extra hahahaha

You cannot generalize it into that hierarchy. Much better kung ing-ani:

<3gb = capacity is more important
    ddr2/ddr1 = frequency and latency
    >3gb and >1600mhz = only makes a small difference

Mas daghan RAM mas responsive jud imong PC
This is only true when comparing no of channels like 1x4gb vs 2x2gb. 2x4gb 2-channel vs 4x4gb 2-channels does not make even the slightest difference..

bus width on the gpu is the memory lane (memory highway)... the higher the number of bits, the better its performance w/ respect to the same vram type...

so far, 8GB system memory is the bang for the buck now... more than this, there is no real performance gain except you can run more applications at the same time compared to the 8GB system... mas preferred ni sya bro than a 4GB system specially na mag build (DIY) or palit ug pre-assembled new PC...

I am only using 2x2gb ddr1600 6-8-6-22-74-1t. So far, i havent encountered any apps that can bring it to its knees..

But since 4gb is very cheap nowadays, there is no reason not to get 2x4gb..

4GB is acceptable ug usable gyud bro. there's is no doubt about this one but kun mag build or palit ug new system, a 8GB would be preferable... barato ra man ang ram ron... 16GB is subra na for now (usik2x ni'g money)... dili man ta mga power users gyud na daghan kaayo'g mga apps na nag run (even daghan kaayo'ng mga tabs sa browser na nag open) in the background then duwa ug heavy games... kun heavy ang apps, aw, i-close ang uban para pas2x ang processing... hehehe... pero, kun ganahan gyud mag 16 or 32 GB sa system memory, pwede gyud kaayo... dako2x lang gyud ug ma shell out sa pocket...

by the way, akoang MoDT rig dri kay 2GB ra man ug ram (DDR 400)... OS is WinXP pero, pyts ra gyud kaayo... daghan ang i-open na apps or broswer tabs kun tapulan mag close... planned to de-commission this relic though... pero, basin until the end of WinXP support lang siguro... inot mode... hehehe

ditch the 2GB when u have the 4x4GB bundle

    no, wala ray file maunsa

wala pay DDR5 nga Desktop RAM

    2gb ddr3 256bit
