Hi guys, these questions are for those photoshop experts out there...

I'm still new to Photoshop and I'd like to ask for your advice on how to make the background of a picture grayscale (b&w) while the foreground is colored? How do you do it? Can you give a detailed list on what to do? Thanks.

petey78, heres a simple 10-step to do that..
1. Open Image File
2. Duplicate Layer
3. Convert the Duplicate layer into Grayscale or use Channel Mixer
4. Create Layer Mask
5. Use the eraser tool
6. Erase the parts that you don't want to be B&W
7. Flatten Image
8. Save
9. Upload
10. Log-in to istorya.net
