Philippine Open Canine Registry

Hello mga istoryans, i would like to invite you to help me build POCR. =)*

The Philippine Open Canine Registry (POCR) would offer a FREE database for all dogs in the Philippines regardless of breed (you can start your own breed if you want). POCR does not require membership in any canine club local or foreign; POCR does however require that you love your Dogs.

Simple ra ang objective sa POCR, it is a place where anyone can register their dogs for the purpose of keeping track of the lineage, health, and temperament of their dogs. So that if ever anyone plans to breed their dogs, they can first check quickly online the ancestry of their planned mate to help give the breeder/pet-owner a preview of the traits that can be inherited by their litter. Or if anyone wants to buy a dog, they can see first the ancestry of the dogs to help them decide if the dog is really for them.

POCR is an Online Database only, registration is free, nothing is to be paid no matter how many and how late you registered your best friends.

I plan to make the POCR Web App alone, but any help is appreciated. You can also help by giving your comments or suggestions. =) POCR is currently homed at: Philippine Open Canine Registry there, you can see all the details and development status of POCR. You could comment/suggest here or on the blog.

Hi! Thanks for the interest. Ok raman walay BG sa web development. Ok ra ako ray make sa app. Pd ka makahelp by sharing your ideas. =) whatever features you want to add pwede nato ma discuss dre. ^^, you could also help by sharing POCR with your friends who have dogs and are interested in the project. Community project ni xa which hopefully will grow to help save our dogs from inherited behavioral and health problems. =) Thank You! =)

gubota kaha og regardless of breeds noh. mag lukop lang og pang crossbreed ang manga tawo ani. nya ma hulog pod na wala ni gamit kay dili naman ka maka sure if pure breed ma or mix ang imo dog.

ang usa purpose baya sa PCCI kay maka sure ka na pure ang imo breed na ma baligya or ma palit.

Hi! Thanks for the response, POCR does not aim to be an alternative to PCCI. =) . If you want "pure" breed (if ever there really is such IMHO) then by all means go and check with PCCI =). POCR does not support eugenics, POCR supports breeding for health and temperament NOT culling puppies because they are not "pure"bred or spaying or neutering just because they are not "pure" bred according to PCC Incorporated.
