green spots on my photographs

hi mga sirs!

i recently noticed these green spots on the pictures i take, especially if the camera is directed towards a light source.



so, i tried removing the uv filter, and then the spot disappeared. but when i replaced the filter with another one, the spot emerged again. what could be wrong?

thats normal, kung gusto ka mg UV filter sa imong lens try using lens hood or ayaw i atobang sa light source imong lens. experiment lang. thats normal

lens flare na bai, nothing to worry about, hardware-wise..

yes thats lens flare the more glass n a light passes through it has the tendency to bend, thus creating the colors.=p remember that light is composed of all colors.=p one way to avoid is remove the filter and use a lens hood and avoid direct light in your frame.=p

that particular lens flare is actually more of light bouncing off the front element
of your lens reflecting off the filter and going back in again.

the reason why it's green could be of color cast from the coatings on lenses and filters
... or because that's a fluorescent light bulb (a cold light) which has a greenish color cast
