TIP, RECOMMENDATION or HIGH PAY..

This is common to every workplace when you are rendering a service to your company or to other people that badly or would like to experience your service. If you are working for a company or to other people that u don't know what kind of reward would u like to be given?

I was once encountered by a situation where I was going home after work when a man from our hospital department called me thru the phone and ask if I can do massage therapy to a person suffering from left sided paralysis. The man told me that he heard from the other clients from the hospital that I worked that I do massage therapy to clients that are experiencing bodily discomfort and that after the days of being admitted in the hospital they feel relaxed and vibrant. He was hoping that if I can do a home service to his wife suffering from left sided paralysis and I agreed even though I'm tired after hard days of work in the hospital. he gave me his address and so I went in there and he introduced me to his wife. While I was also introducing myself to his wife, she enthusiastically said that she's happy that I accept her request to have a massage session since she heard a lot from me that I do massage to people either sick or not. After I done the massage session for 1 hour and 15 minutes the man which is the husband of the wife asked me which options would he like me to pay and he said like this:


1. would you like to be paid thru my recommendation, because I have a lot of friends from politics to business people to have a massage session on you on a daily basis?

2. I will ask your hospital administrator to increase your pay because your administrator is my relative.

3. would you like a tip of 500PhP aside from the pay that I will give u ( I charge 500PHP to my clients btw)


I choose option 3 in this case... if you are in my situation what options will u choose?

ang uban pud ako naistorya kay mas pilion daw nila ang option 1 kay unsaon man daw nang option 3 kung sya lang pirmi ako client unya maayo daw unta kung everyday na sya magapangayo sa ako service na sa isa ka bulan ka isa ra man daw.. hehe. investment daw kung baga.

actually kanang option 1 ug 2 existing jud bya na in real world.. one time when one of my co-worker from the hospital that I worked also do some part time job as a carpenter in a construction firm every night when there was a German citizen looking for my co-worker because the german citizen learned from his neighbor that my co-worker is a part time carpenter and he do some making of recycled double deck wooden beds..

when they met, my co-worker went into their place and showcased his skill to the German citizen and indeed the German citizen was surprised to see how my co-worker did with the bed made of plywoods and old rattan in fashion and comfort. After that the German citizen asked my co-worker kung pwede ba daw sya e recommend sa friend niya nga Irish citizen kay naganahan daw sya sa iya gibuhat nga bed. Nisugot pud ako co-worker hantud na daghan na gusto sa iya magpabuhat ug mga recycled wooden double deck beds nga mga foreigners na nagpuyo diri sa ato country in a daily basis.. hantud sa nag resign ako co-worker sa hospital ug nagbuhat sya ug iya furniture shop.

TS, if ganahan jud ang tao nimo... Dili ka mismo pa pilion ug option 1, 2 or 3.

Basta maayo lang imong serbisyo or trabaho bisan bayaran ka og sakto, e recommend ra gehapon ka niya sa iyang mga friends and acquaintances/business partners.

Nag trabaho gud ka ug sakto, dapat compensated ka ug sakto. Except if ganahan ka ug charity works, or recommendations and tips ra ang makapa happy nimo.

sakto ka TS. kasi for me, if galante jud na cya pagkatao, and he has lots of reputable contacts, tanan nga option ihatag jud na. a service rendered should be paid. perks are just perks.
