- Unique article... it must be a quality unique article, not spin....
- onpage seo (h1, h2, h3, underline, bold)
- backlink..... using your keyword "how to train a dog"

Use google keyword tool! Find keywords with high Global searches with Low or middle competition..

you may use google adwords or word tracker to make it easier..

keywords in the title, h1, h2, h3 tags, meta description.
Put keywords in images (alt tag)
repeat your keywords several times in the content, but do not over stuff your content with keywords.
bold/italic/underline your keywords.
anchor links using keywords, link to other posts.
Link to high PR websites, as well as your own content.
Avoid scammy blogrolls.
Comment on keyword luv blogs. Comment on commentluv and dofollow blogs.
Guest post on other blogs, preferably those with authority in your niche.
