    Default Nikon 1 V1 reviews

Has anyone here tried this new Nikon system, the V1?
Are they compatible with the regular Nikon dslr lenses?
And how about sensor size, image & built quality? Ie., in comparison to Olympus EP1 & Sony's NEX5?

I'd like to know more from Cebuano users before i decide to get one.

nikkor lenses are compatible via an adapter. sensor size is smaller than m4/3s and aps-c. i don't have the v1, not planning, i prefer the nex.

Hello herp_doctor. I was able to hold these guys (along with the J1) and build quality wise, they're solid.
What I didn't like was the "weird" design of the J1's pop up flash. It looks like an inverted L. O_o

How about the IQ (jpeg & raw), how is it? And is it a good buy, overall?
Ie., how does it compare to a typical slr with a walkaround lens Or a rangefinder (Olympus E30 with 12-60mm or Canon 40D with 28-135mm, or the Canon G10)?

i have tested both the v1 and nex 5n, excellent cameras and ultimately went with the 5n. wala ko ganahi how the v1 handles pero nice kaayu iyang menu system og evf especially ang autofocus niya. The 5n just felt great, thinner and lighter than the v1. the test images we took with the 5n inside the store was just so much better than the V1 (dynamic range on the 5n is godly! ) and one last thing the 5n was a whole lot cheaper than the V1. I highly suggest you try those 3 cameras first before making the purchase, at the end of the day what works for you is just that, GL
