I'm not sure what's causing the banding and the non-black blacks. I still don't know how film behaves. If someone can offer a possible explanation, I'd appreciate it.

nice set! saw the photos in flickr! boss carlo did u use a film scanner or u got these printed and then scanned? i have an old konika film cam and plan to try it out and nag-wonder lng ko how to digitize the pix.

@jade: I had the rolls developed into JPGs at Photoline. If I decide to seriously pursue film photography, I might as well buy a film scanner so I just pay for the negatives. Photoline's a bit cheaper compared to Kodak. Photoline offers P 120 per two rolls per CD (exclusive of development). I'll probably go through different film brands before I select one or two I like.

ahhhh... try nya nako ug shoot gamit ning old cam nako. i'll just go to photoline pud for developing straight to jpeg. weee! nindot ni! dugay2 naman gud pud ko nag-think to try an old fslr. hehehehe

@jade: I have been informed that Fuji at SM is better in terms of overall quality. I'll try there next.
