We are developing a site and already up a week ago but I can't find it whenever I search using google and yahoo.. Anyone knows what are the requirements to make my webpage searchable with the search engines like google and yahoo?

registering a domain is not really necessary
if you want it faster.. submit it to search engines. do this for google:

i've only used the open directory..and my site got listed both in google and other search engines.
try the open directory project at http://dmoz.org/ (you have to wait a few days though so make sure you put your site on the right category and follow instructions coz editors are going to evaluate your site before approving it)

Dont really expect for your site to be listed in search engines in just one week. Although some sites, if lucky, get listed in a week, sometimes it would take months, years or even never. It really depends. Just keep on trying and trying to submit your website to almost all search engines.

Aside from submitting your site, make sure it is optimize and "robot-friendly". Check some of the webmaster's info here: http://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html

Right now, we are implementing Google Sitemap. I hope it will aid us in maintaining the top spot for our desired keywords. =D

you need a professional to do this, but you can learn it yourself, the task is called "Search Engine Optimization"

2.) pili ka ug keywords nga imong ganahan .. importante kaayo ni .. make sure imong keywords kay mora ug unique

the most important really is to read do's and don'ts of respective search engine. don't think you can outsmart them by doing tricky things on your websites. doing tricky things will penalized your sites.

submitting to google or yahoo could take weeks or even months... after that there are no guarantees... anyways, the best thing to do after submitting is to have lots of content... robots like content also, its also good to have search-engine friendly URLs when you are using a CMS... even if you dont submit your site to google, it will eventually crawl it...
