New Aquarium - whats first thing to do?

hello guys,

finally my custom living room furniture is finished today and it comes with an aquarium which is made of 1/4 glass (120cm x 30cm x 30.5cm)

i have a few questions:
* whats first thing to do? (water, chlorine, etc)
* what accessories to buy? (lights, thermometer, breather, others)
* where to buy aquarium stuffs?
* what fish? (i want a fish that lives long & doesn't grow much)

i suggest that you put this on the pet discussion.

Also buy a good filtration first, its what keeps your fish alive inside the tank.

when i put up my 1st aquarium, i approached the friendly proprietor of a small petshop in talamban. the first decision he had me decide was the filtration system since it determines how everything is going to be set in the aquarium. then the types of fish im going to put in..last was the plants and ornaments..i suggest you approach a pet store and ask advice. im sure they wouldnt mind as long as you buy from them afterwards.
