is there a camera shop that specializes in repairing focusing issues?

need help on what shop specializes focusing issues. i used to enjoy the IQ of my canon40d and 18-55mm kit lens but lately, i noticed its getting a little blurry. even using a flash and setting the shutter speed to more than a hundred, i still dont get sharp images. i read something about back or front focusing issues and its workarounds but i just dont have the time and capability to do it.

Have you tried Canon's service center?

Where you from diay bay? There's a Canon Service Center in "The Gallery" (Mabolo).

^inquired from them and they said they will take the camera to manila pa. takes a month or 2 to be back in my hands. thats a long time considering xmas, new year and sinulog is coming.

Yes, naa man gud daw kuno ilang focusing/calibration testing didto. Naka-try pud ko ana sa
una... pero dili to for repair, sort of "regular checkup" lang for my lenses. Dali ra man pud
naabot. I-sige lang ug followup. Or better yet, hulam nalang ug lain nga lens sa imong friends.
Naa pud mga lens rental for Canon. I forgot the name na of the company.

di ko sure pero basin lang na lubag jud accidentally ang lens while in AF mode. ah so for checkup pwede ra diay dri sa cebu to see if theres really something wrong? how much pud charge aning "regular checkup" kay calibrate sa lens and camera costs 1250 each man daw and mao na ipadala sa manila. yikes.
