Is this habit during election still exist?

Only in the Philippines.. Vote buying is very rampant. Dili naman na malalis. Tikas ngadto, tikas sa pikas, bisan asa naa jud tikas basta eleksiyon. How can a candidate win kung wala tikas?? Except lang unopposed ang candidate sure ball na kaayu.

Take a look in Mandaue City, grabe diha ang vote buying. One of my good friend from Mandaue witnessed last May 2004 eleksiyon. At least sa Cebu City, naa gihapon vote buying pero dili rampant.

.. this scheme can't and won't be solved. It's the only sure way, as what politicians believe, that the people will vote for them. In our city it's not that obvious but in rural areas and other provinces, politicians can buy out a lot of people.

ma santa rani nga tradition sa pag start sa mga votante ug election officer nga dili mag papalit....

sa cebu city mountain barangays ang vote buying is 500 to 1000 per voter in both camps.... ang palit nga stratetgy nga dili na pa botaron ug pa adtoon sa precinct...

a candidate cannot win an election kung wala vote buying. :mrgreen:
