Thailand-Vietnam Trip

My two aunts from Australia will be coming here this coming July 2012 and they are planning to have a Thailand-Vietnam trip by August 2012. I am currently looking for some info about traveling by land from Thailand to Vietnam and some helpful tips on affordable accommodations and side-trips along the way. Any helpful tips and info from fellow istoryans who are well travelled in Asia would be greatly appreciated.

depende og unsay hilig sa imo auntie if they are the adventurous type or gusto sila relaxing na byahi... pero ky landtrip man imo ipangita so murag adventure tirada ni..

hanoi(halong bay) - (train or bus to ho chi minh(tunnel sa vietcong)) - (bus to cambodia(angkor wat)) - (bus to bangkok) - (bus to phuket) then either balik sa bangkok sakay balik pauli pinas..
og gnahan pa - bus or train to penang island, malaysia - boat to langkawi - back to penang bus or train to kuala lumpur - either fly back sa pinas
og gnahan pa - bus or train to singapore....

naunsa na ni..murag akoa naman ning trip gipamugos sa ubang tao....hehehe
