no sounds after i install win7 ultimate 64bit

Hello!

I am here to ask your help. I am worried I don't have sounds on my newly installed win7. I had winxp as my OS before. But, i have decided to upgrade it. Now,here it comes. It has been running on Win7 but no sounds at all. I already check the Playback devices, and I could see that the volume indicator is working(up and down). My motherboard is Asus P5VD2-MX SE. I already run Windows updates. What seems to be the problem? Can somebody help me? If you have links for drivers, please post. I guess the problem is with the sound card, I believe mine is built-in (not sure)...I badly needed the audio for my work and other projects. Please,help me..

Any response will surely be appreciated.

*I am not really good when it comes to troubleshooting complicated PC problems.

Download drivers from ASUS site and search your motherboard. sound drivers sa imo board needs updating mao you have to get it from manufacturer site especially if your upgrading os win 7 and medyo outdated ang sound drivers sa imo board.

use the audio driver that comes with your mobo..
right click on the installer choose Properties>Compatibility then check "Run this program in compatibility mode for" select Windows XP SP3..
