How to setup hosting for website on linux box

mga master,

Diri sa office nag set up ko ug server ubuntu 11.10 as lamp server. Ang purpose jud nako ani kay himoong server sa akong openfire para sa akong spark. Ok na akong setup maka connect nako sa akong spark.
Naa me available static IP gusto unta nako himoon nako ang akong ubuntu as hosting web server para ma try nako if maka connect bako if naa ko sa amoang balay(after work) sa akong spark.Mga master unsaon man pag setup ug hosting server para sa akong openfire in ubuntu...I think mura rasad ni xa hosting server for a website nga diri lang sa ofis. I have already setup webserver(apache) and static ip address...please help mga master..

bro.. what are you going to achieve with this setup?... you mean u will access the spark from your office when u are at home?.. sakto ba aq sabot bro?..

Bro, I think you can access it coz u assigned it already a static IP, which is public IP right? unless u enabled the firewall in ur server...try to disabled the firewall...also try Port forwarding for another solution.

paksit nasad ko ani sa Port Forwarding, wla pakoy access sa switch or sa load balancer namo...Bro pwede raba nako ma baypass ang ilang setup diri...kay ang ilang setup from Bayantel=>L3 switch=>Loadbalancer=>L2 main switch=>L2 Switch=>PC.
Pwede ba kaya bro mo baypass ko like maghimo ko cable connect directly sa L3 switch then set up the public IP sa akong PC. kung sa kana nga case akong buhaton bro need paba ko mag port forwarding ana...regards
