Mindanao Power Situation - from Poor to Very Poor

For so many years, electricity supply in Mindanao is still one of the worst in this country... I really hope these private companies fast track their projects... Too many red tapes and corruption I guess (what's new after all)... Sad reality that the people of Mindanao has to face... I think it's just about time to change...

it's not all about the red tapes and corruption ang major problem sa mindanao... it's the security man. I think wala gyuy ganahan nga mga big private companies mo invest sa lugar nga daghan samok og kagubot.

kasagaran power plant sa mindanao nara man sad tanan sa northern/central mindanao (sakto ba?) i mean, murag hydro raman tingali ang power source sa mindanao if im not mistaken siguro mga 80% to 90% hydro ang source ( again, not entirely sure)... mao na kung ting summer or worse mag drought, wha jud hubas ang mga dam og hubas pud ang kuryente...

other regions halos wala na jud... hinaot unta madayon na ang coal power plant nga itukod kuno sa may toril sa davao and that should help alleviate the power crisis, at least to the southern mindanao part...

in scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest, i would rank the following in terms of power utilities services.

- metro manila - 5
- metro cebu - 4
- davao city - 3
- other davao provinces and cities in davao nga dili sakop sa aboitiz (davao light) - 1 ( as in pwera gaba jud pft?!)
