IS IT TRUE THAT ATI/NVDIA (I'M NOT SO SURE W/C) NEEDS TO DOWNLOAD A LOT OF DRIVERS FROM THE WEB TO WRK AT IT'S PEAK?

GOT IT FROM A REALIABLE SOURCE...(ALTHOUGH, I'M NOT SO SURE IF HE IS STILL REALIABLE!

i think what the guy means is tweaking.. yep you may need to download 3rd party software to tweak your settings for a specific proggy but it doesnt have to sound that bad like "downloading a lot of drivers"

There are quite few drivers for ATI or Nvidia.
For ATI has two widiley/famously used drivers the Official Catalyst and the Omega Drivers.
Same also for Nvidia the Official Forceware driver and the Omega driver.
