don't really know much about the facts in the bible. Though some may be normal calamities/events exaggerated- i believe the majority is fiction. still, i'd be more than glad to know other stories.

Noah,on the other hand though,is still being debated if he really did exist.
the first character in the old testament that is proven to have lived is Abraham..The rest before may be symbolic to the Jewish race and culture..

We can read physical evidence that Great Flood really happened.
Here's some, when elephant feel that they are dying they will go to a journey and die in there common graveyard.
But scientist found a bone of Elephant and a bone of a big fish. It indicates that it is impossible for a elephant and fish to live and die together not unless they come together during flood.

Another, how come if we dig in a mountain we can found shell?
And in the mountain where the Ark landed they found woods (craft) which its hard for a man to carry it there.

But the Great flood can be read and written in Genesis whole chapter of 6,7,8 & 9.
