The Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the latest version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0, was unveiled at Hong Kong an hour or so ago. The Galaxy Nexus has been buzzing all over the internet for the past few weeks in which even the event had to be rescheduled due to the numerous leaks.

Nevertheless, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will the first phone to be using the latest Ice Cream Sandwich Android operating system. Probably yes, for both the Galaxy S2 and the Nexus One. It has pretty much impressive specs and the Ice Cream Sandwich is just perfect for it.

Its not an upgrade to the Galaxy S2, its a release platform for Android 4.0 just like the Nexus S.

I'm going to skip on the Galaxy Nexus because the only reason you would want it is Android 4.0. I'm really happy that Samsung will bring Android 4.0 to my SGS-II. I'm not a big fan of the screen because its a Pentile-Matrix screen and not Super Amoled + so it looks like it has less pixels than it normally has.
