Today, Sony has launched their highly-anticipated "Sony Tablet" S that claims to offer powerful features and deliver engaging entertainment experience to consumers. The "Sony Tablet" S features 9.4-inch LED-backlit IPS touchscreen, Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile processor and Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb. On usage, the tablet is fast when we navigate across the various screens and run the applications. The display also looks good when we played some movie trailers.
The "Sony Tablet" S has a unique asymmetric design; the screen is sloped when placed on a flat surface. On the sides of the tablet are the USB and SD memory card reader, reset pinhole, volume controls and power button. It also has a unique connector that fits the optional specialized cradle (sold separately). The company also claims that the tablet is the first series to be PlayStation certified, which means you can play original Playstation games such as Crash Bandicoot and Pinball Heroes (preinstalled) on the "Sony Tablet" S.
Sony has included various optional accessories for the "Sony Tablet" S such as the cradle, AC adapter, LCD screen protector, carrying case, USB adapter cable and Bluetooth keyboard. The "Sony Tablet" S will be available in 16GB
(S$668 / PHP23,380) and 32GB
(S$798 / PHP27,930) respectively in end October. The 3G versions of the "Sony Tablet" S will be available at a later date.
