In her explosive speech yesterday FPJ's widow, Susan Roces said she is ready to lead this country and is calling for GMA's resignation.

Immediately after her speech and in tears she said, that she is longing to see a "father figure" for this country.Â* This confused quite a lot of people because her statements are conflicting.Â* So the media cannot confirm if she will be the opposition's contender.

Critics say that her speech was carefully metered and calculated which is so unlikely of her.Â* They also said she is just a griping widow.Â* Needless to say, obviously backed by the opposition.

Anyhow, can you picture Susan Roces sitting in Malacanang and running OUR country?! NA UNSA NA GUD NING KALIBUTAN?!

Right now the opposition has a VERY BIG PREDICAMENT, they have no identifiable leader.Â* This came from Enrile himself among others.

If I remember right, she said that after FPJ's death she will mourn silently and will go back to their supposedly already private life.Â* We cannot really blame FPJ or Susan Roces, these are obviously good people but they are simply not competent to run country. Being good is simply just not enough.Â* Some people REALLY wants to be in power and now they are just using the poor old widow for a futile attempt at the Presidency by raising back FPJ's charisma and popularity.

In the MOST REMOTE possibility of a Snap Elections and she will indeed be running for president, who will be her Vice? Ping Lacson or Rez Cortez?

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!Â* I really pity the opposition nowadays their brains are whirling like a tornado. In short, tuliro. because of their never ending thirst for wealth and power. Psychology tells us that this is a sure way to insanity.

according to the news, she wrote it herself after she talked to her 13 year old balikbayan apo who incited that his "Mama Susan is the keeper of the flame". she locked herself in her room (daw) after that awe-inspiring talk, prayed the rosary and wrote her "madamdaming speech".

i agree that she has every right to feel indignation and anger at the revelations that confirmed in her heart and mind that her late husband was deprived of some votes. that's what she believes in. maybe she has no intention or ambition of running as President. she is just expressing righteous indignation on her part. as she said, it's up to the people to decide.

but the dilemma there is that she's using her emotion and not her intelligence. she didn't present any alternative action. i wonder why nobody in the media asked her what she thinks would be the right thing to do if GMA resigns? she didn't mention any name as to who would she want to sit on the throne, apart from saying that the country needs a "father", coz we've had too many "mothers".

i wonder why nobody in the media asked her what she thinks would be the right thing to do if GMA resigns? she didn't mention any name as to who would she want to sit on the throne, apart from saying that the country needs a "father", coz we've had too many "mothers".

that's what made it confusing because she said SHE is going to LEAD the country and a bit later she said this country needs a FATHER. Â*i believe they called the press conference. Â*...and in the Philippines we all know what that means, nothing AGAINST the people who called the conference. unlike in the U.S. wherein the press can ask anything regardless of who SET-UP or called the said press conference. Â*otherwise, what's the point? being a press person here, don't dare ask anything against the "host" or you can be certain that you won't have any free lunch and an envelope to take home.

in fairness to mrs. poe, that gathering was for her to give a statement and really not for an interview. the opposition is careful with spot interviews for their contenders, from Erap to FPJ and now Susan Roces because they know that they cannot intellectually comprehend and handle those types of situations. Â*in short, they simply can't hack it!

Network news last night and early this morning carried a story about a cine-look poster by Apo Production Unit Inc. which is going the rounds in Metro Manila.

The movie is supposed to be titled "Ang Pagbabalik ni Asiong Salonga." If you recall, Asiong Salonga is the old Caloocan gangster earlier portrayed in the movies by Joseph Estrada.

In this allegory, the movie is supposed to be starred by Joseph Estrada, with supporting role coming from Francis Escudero and stunts provided by Samuel Ong, Sandra Cam, Alan Paguia and Bishop Cruz.

But here is the believable fun of this poster: the supposed story is said to have been written and directed by Horacio Morales. During his Development of the Philippines Academy days, Morales was said to have founded the National Democratic Front (NDF). He also served ex-President Joseph Estrada's erstwhile secretary for the Department of Agrarian Reform, which saw so much contradiction in the condition of the Malaybalay farmers.
