ay wasup fellas,....

im building mahself a new comp...... i already got mah motherboard (ABiT Fatal1ty AN8 SLI) and mah memory (Mushkin 1GB Xp3500 (2x512) RedLine),.... i havent order'd mah processor yet but im goin' for AMD 64 X2 (dual core),..... AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Manchester is wat im plan to get but i was also wondering if the AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo is worth it. <--- this is not realy the issue

wat im havnt a hard time on deciding is choosing a graphix card,.....
i was admired and want'd a ATi card (X850 XT or X850 XT PE therez not realy that much of a difference in da price),..... but Nvidia just came out with there new 7800 GTX card
and datz watz f***ing me up
giving me a hard time choosing between NVidia and ATi

i just want'd to know wat u guys think,....
wat u guys prefer or wat u guys suggest for mah system....

amd athlon 64 x2? if you'll be doing gaming, forget it... your gaming experience won't make much of a difference.

Dude, NVIDIA's the bomb right now.. if you simply have tons of cash to burn, get 2 GeForce 7800 GTX's put them in SLI.... your games will never go below 60 FPS. ATI's R520 is still months from now, and could paper launch (i.e., not launch at all) at that time...

ATi bro!!! x800XT PE plus after that buy the x800 ATi crossfire ed. para dual VGA (same as SLi in nVidia pero much better performace) ATi cross fire will stilll work in nFocrce4 mobo

@Visual C# : 2 7800 GTX is just too much,..... i cant afford to of 'em,..... datz bout 12 hundred.... wow..... datz a grip.... (i have a budget on my comp.)
amma be playing games on this comp. but itz not just mainly for that,.... i just want a realy fast system dat can perform all da thingz dat i want,.... creating / editing beatz and also video,.... gaming (i dont think im a hardcore gamer but i do want the games to run smoothly),.... hometheater,.... but not for the house,..... for my own room,.... and lotz more,..
so amma be doin' all kindz of thingz on mah comp.

Sorry dude, that is incorrect: CrossFire won't work on nForce4, your mobo needs to have the Radeon Xpress 200 Chipset; http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=Nzc4

If you gat a SLI board... go get one 7800. Then when you have enuf money again, get another 7800 and SLI them. ^_^

i agree with wAn_eyE get a 7800 then buy another one later. but if your not a hard core gamer better get a 6800 rather than a 7800.

i always want'd a ATi card but it lookz like NVidia has da edge as of right now,....
and i dont wanna wait any longer for ATi to come out with there new card,...
