External HDD vs. desktop HDD with enclosure

hi fellow istoryans! i'm looking at purchasing an external HDD (at least 1 tb) para butangan tah nko og HD movies to be played sa akong TV. Just wondering if there is any major difference between an external og desktop HDD with enclosure when it comes to HD movie viewing or in any aspect in general. kay naa man gud namaligya sa BS section og HDD with enclosure and mka save jud ko ani as opposed to buying a brand new nga exteral. dili man gud kaayo ko savvy when it comes to computer stuffs so im really hoping maka enlighten mo gamay nko.. many thanks in anticipation!

I there for conclude no. 1 is best for viewing HD movies TS pariha namo ganiha, nanan-aw mig 4 movies naa sa external HDD 2.5, gamay ra kaayo pero daghanang sulod ato uy LOL, nahilo kog tinan-aw kay gihurot gyud ang 500 GB puro DVD rip (DIVX) fits on my pocket with only one USB connector

thanks for the info sir siopao! kalimot diay ko og butang na 3.5 inch akong plano palitun based sa mga reads nko diri sa istorya na mas advisable ang 3.5 externally-powered compared sa 2.5 usb-powered when it comes to watching HD movies sa LCD Tv. so basically, wala jud diay difference between the 3.5 external og 3.5 internal w/ enclosure, without considering its physical structure, portability (or the lack of it)? just the HD movie viewing experience lang, virtually no difference jud?

advisable na mag media player na lang ka then taod ang 2.5 inch hard drive

ky kung 2.5 inch hard drive i-dretso mo sa usb port sa tv bcn ma stress ang tv hatag og power sa usb drive.

pero kung 3.5inch hard drive ok ra man na ky naa man kaugalingon na power. ang bantayan mo lang ky bacin mag short ang power adapter nya maglahos sa usb port sa tv. bacin ma collateral damage ang tv

sa PC nu-on namo gi plug ganiha bro, siguro sa mga older external 2.5`s murag delikado kay dagko pa man tog mga amperahe, pero ang mga bag-o ron murag tag isa na lang ka USB connector bro, di pariha sauna nga nag Y ang USB plugs for better contact between the +5V, kato isa na lang gyud, gamay pa gyud ug wire

if ang imong purpose is purely storage only (dili nimo dala-dalahon bisag asa), then the 3.5" is suitable for your needs. The 2.5" is good if mobile ka kay gamay ug gaan man, but limited ang capacity (max is 1TB). The 3.5" is bigger & heavier, but has more capacity (up to 3TB)..

@ashrock - yup... its purely storage ra jud bro.. i think the only time na kailngan nako dala2x-hun ang item is if mgpa copy ko movies sa akong mga migo...

mga masters, asa kaha pinakabarato nga baligya og external HDD 1tb 3.5.? kanang USB 2.0 lng.... GI? mga pila kaha?
