Audio question about Fiber Optic Toslink Male To Mini Toslink Female Adapter

Good day istoryans. Naa nasad ko mangutana ninyo basin makatabang mo nako. Gusto man gud nako i-output ang audio sa akong HDTV to line in sa ako sound card. Kaso is ang audio out from my HDTV is optical whereas ang sa soundcard kay wala man optical port. So nag plano ko ug palit ani.

Karon my question is mo work ra ba ni? or need pa ko ug lain device na adapter? kay naka basa ko somewhere na need daw i-convert ang optical to digital audio so mag need jd daw ug adapter. I hope matabangan ko ninyo.

by the way ako gamit na soundcard is ang default sa motherboard (MSI 890FXA-GD70) ra nako.

kinahanglan kag card adapter ana nga modawat ug OPTICAL IN, or bisan S/PDIF na lang kay pwede ra ka mogamit ug RCA cable mas cheaper, if naa S/pDIF imo HDTV....

question, does your onboard sound support optical IN? murag optical OUT ra man na. you might think of getting the sound from your HDTV to a DAC or AV-receiver instead

di man na mogana imo toslink sa 3.5mm kay optical man na gihapon ang gawas unless imo 3.5mm input caters optical, kabantay ka ana sa tumoy sa toslink fiber glass man na....

pero ug imo na ipaslak sa AV receiver optical IN (YAMAHA, DENON, MARANTZ. etc.) mogana na...

dli DTS or dolby surround mogawas sa imo HDTV if imo source is a digital component such as DVD/Blu-ray/cable box/STB(Set-top-box)satellite receiver and is connected to your HDTV via HDMI, only 2 CH will be heard. So if you want to hear 5.1CH audio, connect the digital audio out jack from your DVD/Blu-ray/cable box/STB satellite receiver directly to an amplifier or home theatre.
Your HDTV can decode DTS or Dolby surround when your tv is receiving a DTV signal.

will the audio box work for my LG HDTV with optical out to my desktop Logitech Z-2300 with 3.5mm jack? cheap audio setup lang kay besides native media player sa TV kay AC3 ra pwede taman.
