Err i dunno if BeoR is gonna kill me for posting this... i think for me i'd prefer the old one PHPBB... SMF is somewhat messy and heirarchical menu is somewhat too old school... i like the default color of the skin tho`... blue... what do you think peeps?

well, for one thing, Istorya could have used IPB which has a much more sleek design and quite user-friendly too.

i like this one better because of its features. IMO, instead of comparing the new from the old, why not make suggestions on how to improve it further?

one of the reasons why phpBB has been scrapped is because of the many security issues that it has. another is the slow pace of development. their next release was originally due at the end of last year yet until now, there isn't even a beta. SMF has a far more active development team... and yes, we cannot afford commercial products and we will not use pirated ones.

phpBB was more user and admin friendly. but SMF has better security, a more active development team, and more features. as far as I have noticed, it also handles more load better.

huwagan ko sa mga menu.. other than that ok raman. also nindot sad always allowed ang ang image signatures.. but lets keep it to a minimum like less than 25kb ra ang image
