"I love Photography but my forte is more on Cinematography, I decided to buy this BG-E7 Battery Grip for back up power for my Eos Canon 7D for long filming purposes, but unfortunately it is late in my knowledge that using battery grip during a long filming is not advisable, I'm a Wedding Cinematographer and it is my job to take long filming during the Wedding event and what the battery grip does it will caused my 7D overheat. Then I start to read some forums, and there I found out that battery grip is only advisable for Photography since it doesn't used more power unlike using it for long filming." - owner of the item
