I was preparing for swimming training with my other team mates, when i realized i had my menstruation (A.K.A period/red tide/red alert/PMS, etc).
So i called out to my female team mates and asked "does any of you have a tampon?"
They reacted so shocked at the question and answered "no! ull lose your virginity with that!"

Ofcourse, there are medical/psychological/general definitions of the female "virginity", but nowadays, it differs on the person. So it's a subjective subject.
I've asked several people about 'virginity' and i've concluded the 3 most common definitions:
1) You are considered a virgin if nothing has gone in your vagina (my team mates' understanding. "NOTHING", meaning a finger, a tampon, a *****, etc)
2) you are considered a virgin if your hymen is still in tact. (i find this contradicting coz the hymen can tear from many reasons, either sports, gymnastics, biking, horseback riding, etc.)
3) you are considered a virgin if a p.enis (A.K.A dick/cock/etc), has not entered your vagina. (this i also find curious, because that would mean that girls who masturbate with *****s, vegies, their hands/etc, are STILL considered as virgins since they haven't had a p.enis in them).
I responded to my team mates with the NO.3 definition of virginity and ofcourse, they would prefer to stick to their own definition. it's alright.
Just sharing opinions.
