    Its the graphics memory bus width. Think of it as the width of the highway to and from the memory.

    Data width of the memory controller, denotes how much information can pass through at a given time.

    ( Bitrate x Memory clock speed (Base speed Not DDR speeds) ) / 2 = Total memory bandwidth.

    The higher the bitrate the faster the memory controller can go provided the memory clock speed remains constant on compared devices.

    Ex:

    128bit x 1000Mhz == 64bit x 2000Mhz

    that's how it is presented for your question TS

    this is how you get math for speeds

    sakto si Keropi TS, mura na siya ug gi LAPDON(width) sa karsada. mas dako ang karsada(memory bus width) mas dghan ang sakyanan(data) mka agi(transfer) in less time. 1 thing i noticed pud, mgka dako ang memory bus width sa Vid Card, mgka dako pd ang Power Consumption.

    Dili man tingali, infact if magka dako ang bus width magka gamay imong required memory clock speed which in turn lowers down the power consumption, but the difference is irrelevant anyway.
