Thread: Poor AZKALS

    Default Poor AZKALS

i dont know where to start this thread.
its not that im not a football fan or im not being patriotic in fact im am.
i love footboll its my sport when i was in highschool even got a slot in the school varsity team
everytime i see my fellow Filipino carrying the Philippine flag in every sports i cheer for them, i get excited when they are up and i got disappointed in time even shed tears during they're defeat..
and then here comes the AZKALS
the thing i've noticed ever since the team was formed is the lack FOCUS.
FOCUS... they did nothing but travel here travel there. they are saying that they are practicing during those travels due to weather conditions. sure they can do that but you should practice in a different place where in the weather is the same as the weather of the host city.
azkals have been traveling the country ever since, another thing is they're saying that they are promoting and gathering support.
yeah right, they need not do that the juan dela cruz will forever be supportive of his beloved Filipino team.
too much exposure resulted in lack of focus
is they are not traveling they are on tv making showbiz news
    commercial here commercial here
    interview here interview there
they did they're best i agree with it but if they have focused they could have done better.

if really they want to win
they should have isolated themselves during trainings and practice
they should have done it where there is no distractions
no media, no fans but themselves

i will not compare them to any Philippine sports icon
but look at them they reach the top because they are focused

team azkals has to prove themselves first before before they do those vices and unwanted distractions

and i will not say that they are just new and its not yet they're time to be in the world cup
even a rookie team can do it
    for team azkals

first of all, i would like to say this straight to your face... you are an armchair critic, a crab minded person and a person who sees himself an expert AND HAS NO HEART.

woah! hold it down squirt! we already have a national football team since 1907. the name azkals came up in 2005 by a group of avid and football loving people. they have been called the azkals as no support from the federation or sponsors comes but still they survive to play because of their love for football. if you term the azkals "in your own opinion" then im sure youve known that name after they defeated vietnam in the suzuki cup last year. straight to the point, YOU ARE A BANDWAGONEER. nisabay raka sa balita ug uso.

typical armchair critic again. im such enthused by your opinion of seeing the team with no focus. damn! you are a gem squirt! you are not even part of the coaching staff. how can someone like yourself possibly know the agenda of others when you are not even part of it. its like you know the workarounds of convergys and you are employed as a store clerk in Happy Mart. first, we dont have a national league here. the azkals need to get experience abroad where football is very competitive. germany already pledged their support for our team early this year thus they were able to play and practice in germany before the sri lanka series. one of the reasons of coach weiss on why they train abroad is to be away from typical pinoy chismis, usoseros and usoseras that hound the team. when they are here, THERE IS A LOT OF DISTRACTION. NO FOCUS. its been acknowledged already by the coach.

and now you say they train abroad with no focus at all?? oh c'mon! have some common sense. and talking about playing conditions similiar to the host city, didnt they train in bahrain where the climate is similar to kuwait? maybe you might want to google that.

dude, as if you dont know anything about football here in our country. like you said you were part of a school varsity? if you are then you know what's the condition of football here. football is not popular at all before the historic win against vietnam. the players are promoting the sport indeed. they need the corporate sponsors in order to finance their training and allowances. but as a lesson for you, there is no salary when playing for a national team. some of the players who are playing in clubs in europe have salaries beyond the usual juan and they sacrificed their time just for the national team. MAUWAW PUD KA UY MANAOT KA SA TAW NANINGUHA SAMTANG IKAW GA LINGKOD RA! no, juan dela cruz aint gonna support any national team. even you the average juan is one of them not supporting the team by starting this discussion.

dont blame the team, the players and staff. blame the media. you know how the media manipulates the brain of juan. commercial endorsements are a given. they are famous now and no one can question that. they didnt work hard to be famous but our media is making them famous. corporations need new faces and new heroes. dont blame them if they are mestizos. mestizos have been a part of us when spain colonized us. NASUYA TNGAI KA NGA GWAPO SILA??

through these commercials and advertisements gives football a chance to live in our country. its not only the players benefit from this but for the sport as well.

hahahaa! from time to time, try to read the newspaper dude. again, what where they doing in germany? how about in bahrain? the staff were isolating the team from all the distractions in our country. use your eyes and read. dont use your mouth when you dont even know what you are saying.

thats what an average juan like you always wants. TO PROVE. to prove for what? for you? well these guys dont need to prove to you that they are good. they are sportsmen who have achieved respect for our country and other countries out there and proving isnt the way to get respect.

at least they have proven they are part of the national team. not like you who has proven himself only up to high school football.

yup you are right. we are not ready for the world cup. it was a dream but dreams are always there where you can ponder and dream on. nobody wants to take away one's dream. when you were a kid i bet you were asked by your teachers on the dream of who you want to become in the future.

football is taking baby steps. champions are not awarded overnight. its a slow and painful process but for them representing us is an honor. people like you should be proud. cherish their win and hold your head up high when they lose. even the mightiest teams lose and who said we dont lose? as a filipino, act like a filipino. and if you see the filipino as "mangdaot, libakero, manglalait ug way ayo" then you are one of these poor "filipinos".

dont be a crab. just because they are famous you pull them down to your level of thinking. as for me, i love the sport. i love the national team. its them who sacrificed for us and im proud of what they have achieved no matter what. as long as football is in my heart, then the national team is in my heart too. thats a given. and thats being patriotic. im happy seeing the kids take the sport and hopefully the federation can ride this momentum. its these kids who will wear the reigns of our national colors soon. its them 7 or 8 or 12 year olds who will be giving glory to our country soon and not like a 20 or 30 year old imbecile like you.

its not Poor AZKALS but Poor YOU!

for you being a crab, here is a good read and i hope you see yourself in a mirror and ponder who you are.

its not being a fanatic but being patriotic for your national team. research what a fanatic is and youll get what im talking about.

being a fanatic is doubling your efforts but forgetting your true aim.

being patriotic is love for one's country and his compatriots.
