I think this is just fine, these two people are more wise than intelligent, so if they see this thread am sure ngisian lang ta aning mga tawhana. If you ask me, a comparison of a few of Istorya's brilliant minds is inevitable, because everytime we read their rebuttals, they always catch our attention and leave a lasting impression. This does not mean we want to belittle one and favor the other, hmmm I guess to mods... this could be a constructive observation and assessment between these two lang... and are an interesting bunch of personalities to talk about. Ambot kaha ug okay ra ni manny ug spring, pero am sure la sila'y paki.

I've seen Spring in the forums way back then and this man is a great example of an interesting debater... he uses very simple vocabulary but expresses his thoughts and opinions effectively. Naa puy ubang mo debate lawm kaayo ug vocabulary... and oftentimes... tungod sa kalawm mosukwahi na hinuon sa iyang punto. I've seen some politics forumers who project this style and akoa impression is, "hasula, lamia'g mga pulong uy pero ang idea gatuyok-tuyok". In conclusion, I like Spring although I am not very acquainted or familiar with manny's but he's one great debater too... we really cannot measure the depth of intellect these two people have because istorya is just but a part of their daily lives but as far as style and impression, I'd say Spring. He has this simple and organized flow of expressing his thoughts, dali ra masabtan pero swack to the point.

Let me add this: as to personal panagbangi is concerned, I once chatted with Spring sa YM and he said, bisan unsa kuno kainit ang diskurso sa mga taw sa politics, like himself and vern and omad and a couple of the others, they exchange friendly messages through pm behind all discussions. So basically, bisan unsa ka init ang discussion, them being great intellectuals it is lame and shallow to be personal about things. Mga mature gyud sila indeed. What we talked or fought about here, we leave it here. Tehe. Cool huh!

although i have always been an anti-V and was quite active (used to ) at that, and of course with a little debate with springy, i'd say both springy and manny have created interesting and valid points.. though sometimes it gets too personal that i always look forward for the next episode.. :mrgreen:
