The new Western Digital My Book Studio external hard disk may look like the Apple Mac aesthetics (as it is designed for Mac machines), though it also boasts a huge 3TB capacity, fast transfer speeds and automated backup features that makes data backup extremely easy.



The newest generation of Western Digital My Book Studio external hard drives are designed for use with Mac computers and Apple Time Machine. Available with a 3TB capacity, the external hard disk features a brushed aluminum casing to match the appearance of a Mac computer, which also serves to keep the drive cool. It also eliminates the need for an internal fan to reduce drive noise and extend the life of the drive. The My Book Studio external hard drives can also be reformatted for PCs.

The My Book Studio external hard drive offers various features including fast FireWire 800/400 and USB 2.0 interfaces, user-controlled automatic backup software and drive management, password protection and hardware encryption. Shipping in capacities of 1TB, 2TB and 3TB, the My Book Studio drive includes the WD Caviar Green series of internal hard drives with WD GreenPower Technology.

What makes it 'buyable' sir aside sa 3TB capacity?

i would rather buy this brand since im in Singapore. paspas og customer service and RMA since inhouse ra man ila warranty service - means to say warranty is within the country, replacement of a defective drive takes only 1 to 2 days from receipt of defective drive or outright replacement from the supplier daun.

agree, even diri sa pinas, pas2s man ilang RMA service basta within 1year lng, pero 1 year onwards, forward to WD HQ na in SG..
