TWO men were charged in court on Tuesday with criminal trespass and mischief at Tanjong Pagar Railway Station.
Filipino Mauricio Pocholo Jorge Martinez, 24, and Gan Kwang Chuen, 20, are accused of unlawfully entering the Keppel Road premises and carrying out spray-painting on a KTM railway carriage at about 2am on March 12.
Gan, a full-time national serviceman, is alleged to have committed six more similar charges at a building belonging to the Ministry of Defence at Rifle Range Road in March 2010 and January 2011.
The ninth charge states that he had 126 obscene video films in his possession at a house in Upper Bukit Timah on April 5 2011.
Both men, who were unrepresented, indicated to the court that they wished to plead guilty. District Judge Christopher Goh adjourned their cases to July 26.
The maximum penalty for criminal trespass is three months' jail and a $1,500 fine, and for mischief, one year and a fine.
