D80 Problem.. "Err" appears on LCD and a weird crank sound

two things:

1. wala ka memory card nabutang, or
2. naay prob imo mirror/curtain. once ma raise, dli na mu naog balik.

interestingly, the number 2 scenario is a documented prob of the D7K. just today, when i went to popular camera shop here, there was a D7K unit wc was returned for check up having the Err message displayed sa sub-LCD. hmm...

boss, ipa check nas cameracare. common problem na sa mga D80. basin ang guba ana is ang IC board. mao nay nagdala ug power to raise up/down the shutter curtain.

@azinec: naa may mem card bro so that leads to the mirror/curtain.
@vanix09: so common jud diay mahitabo ba ni siya if like maabot to a certain point which youve taken a lot of photos? kuan pud bro tagpila pud if kana nga prob ipa ayo? pila sa cameracare? ug asa na dapita?

these problems are inevitable for DSLR owners if not sooner, later
it not a problem with professional photographers who earn from their equipments so fixing or buying a new dslr body is not much of a problem.

let us know how much did you pay for fixing your shutter.
