HELP! I cannot defragment distk due to error

It says:

The scan has been canceled because an error occurred in file:

C:\System Volume Information\_restore{F8136B96-1D4C-4145-839F-7B8F940A9052}\RP257\A0114109.INI

A while ago, it would error in the Cache.Trash files of firefox, but i deleted them after. And now, it's got another error.

I'm afraid to delete the file coz what if it's important.

Are you using Windows's built-in defrag tool ma'am? Are you using an admin account? Try pud disable System Restore then defrag balik.

use ccleaner to clear away temporary files etc etc etc (Piriform - Download CCleaner, Defraggler, Recuva, Speccy - Millions of users worldwide!)
use defraggler to defrag drive instead of windows defrag (Piriform - Download CCleaner, Defraggler, Recuva, Speccy - Millions of users worldwide!)

Are you using Windows's built-in defrag tool ma'am? Are you using an admin account? Try pud disable System Restore then defrag balik.

I have no idea if its a build in defrag tool. I just went to Start-all programs-accessories-system tools- disk defragmentor.


I'm REALLY dumb when it comes to this IT stuff, i end up breaking it or it crashes.

So how do i disable system restore?
