Unhappy Video: PROUD TO BE PINOY? Dont Be, Here's Why...

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1Q6...layer_embedded

^^^ imo this video made me realize how this country and its people lost everything. Media hype, oligarchy disguised as 'democracy', mass ignorance, poverty, etc. This could be just a portion of it, if not in general. It's a national epidemic.

To me, this video said it all. And of course, your thoughts still matter so post on!

If you cant be proud of who you are...then who do you think will be proud of you...?

It all boils down to you lang ghapon...

before you throw any fingers to anybody in the government or to anyone... examine yourself first...

what have you done lately or what have you contribute to make your fellow filipino's life a bit better than what he is experiencing right now.

Blaming others is always been a trademark to us filipinos... We blame GOD, we blame the weather, we blame our neighbor, we blame the chinese, we blame the americans, we blame the spaniards, we blame the people in the government, we blame our family.. heck we always blame someone or something for the life we have now....

EVER EVER CONSIDERED and ACCEPTING BLAMING YOURSELF SAD? for the sad and sorry state of our country?

Each and every one of us, has a responsibility to do and take... It's not him, her, she or you.. ITS OURS...

the moment you accept yourself that you also have a role to take in making this country a bit nicer to live by... is the moment we can be proud of ourselves and to the world....

It's start in us, you and me....making and helping together... STOP BLAMING.. We have, each one of us have a fault to the sorry state of what our country has become....

the video would be a good wake up call for the pinoys...

but still... after viewing the entire video, i realized its just another form of black propaganda against the current administration. again, mud slinging disguised as martyrdom/concern for country.

im not a noynoy fan, i did not even vote for the guy, but how can the philippines move on if we keep on focusing on the faults of our leaders instead of bettering ourselves?

look at efren penaflorida, he saw a problem, he made a solution! he did not sit on his butt waiting for the government to make his pushcarts for him.

naa lang gyud na sa atoa gihapon if gusto nato mausab atong kinabuhi.

stop the black propagandas, tama na ang talanka mentality. wake up na mga pinoy!

what really caught my attention is when the words "Fight Filipino Ignorance" flashed sa screen at 4:38 and i thought, that's it! It's not the greed and the corrupt. The root comes from ignorance. The former was just a by-product. It's a social epidemic. Oligarchy reigns because of ignorance. And with ignorance, it's easier to manipulate. Hence, the stupid game shows, cheap entertainment, apathy to real social issues etc. We've totally lost it!

how did Henry Sy and other chinoy who had to escape the communism sa China, who dont speak tagalog and literally had zero net wort became billionaire? BECAUSE, while filipino complains about there government, chinoys mind there business and try to find ways so that the government will work for there favor. stop complaining and MIND your own business

I am impress with the life story of Henry Sy, Lucio Tan and John Gokongwei. We should learn from them

Influence on the government. Isn't this part of the perks of being an oligarch? i'm not against any of these guys. i'm against the system. it does not benefit all citizens. This leads to another issue - Tolerance.

OK... ? Unsay pinaka-objective nimo sa paghimo ani na thread? Criticize the Filipino people AGAIN? Stating the obvious AGAIN?

I thought you were going to give some fresh ideas on how to alleviate our present condition.

Use your brain cells. Treat the problems as puzzles and offer smart solutions. Try to think outside the box.

Take one problem that's being cited in that video and then outline a solution that you think would best work given the present conditions.
