That design and functionality must not constitute contradictions, NZXT has been made in the past repeatedly demonstrated. Nevertheless, the focus is within the range of housing even more on one aspect and more time on the other. During the last Newcomers turned down more toward design, NZXT now countered with a true functional cars.

Of course, it is increasingly difficult for manufacturers to stand out on the market. Therefore, one must design the equipment and let something new come up, or connect the right combination. There are now no longer new innovation, what with so many manufacturers is not surprising. Even before the purchase, one is confronted with an important question: What color to choose? It both look good, both white and black. We opted for the dark variant, which was purely on the appearance a good decision. At first glance, it is this is a very noble tower, the design is successful in any case. Also, the first feature to be found when looking to please at first.

Above you can find the entire front ports and two covers. Under one of them is an optional space for a fan 140 mm fan. Under the second cover is the hotswap HDD for an external hard drive. Supports 2.5 "and 3.5". Also, the front-lines should not be ignored. First, they are created very practical, very top, where you go well. There you'll find three USB 2.0 and 3.0. Next door is the fan controller that allows three levels. Connected, all 3 case fans. In addition, two 3-Pin for optional fans are free.

Behind the front door you will find two additional 120 mm fan, which also depend on the controller. Incidentally, these are equipped with a special frame which also has a hot swap function. For cleaning purposes, and the block of the disk is more than practical. What is criticized in many cases, the aperture of the drives that you can lose weight often only be removed through the whole front. This one has solved the H2 Silent Classic with simple but practical closures. Simply push the side panel and remove. Go quickly, costs nothing.

On the bottom, another fan could be installed. So as not to absorb all the muck from the bottom, we have built a long dust cover. This can be quickly removed for cleaning purposes.

Now we come to the inner life.

If you open the door, you think you are in a small gift shop to find it again. A lot of little surprises and extras that bring excitement to the already mounting hardware with it. The insulation is immediately apparent that one can find on both sides and the front. Even the myriad cables enable the customer to wonder. But do not worry, half of which is placed behind the rear wall.

The interior can be built up to 8 hard drives and three drives. All 8 frame directly in front of the two front fans. Thus, a complete cooling of all panels is guaranteed. The formats 3.5 "and 2.5" are supported. Thus, even small SSD drives are mounted in the frame. All drives can be installed completely without tools.

May not be enough who the three 120 mm, block two additional fans optional. Above is another place for a 140 mm, down to a 120 mm fan. A brief look should be put on the whole cable. At the front ports are front audio, USB 2.0 and eSATA. In addition, there are two 4-pin power connectors for powering the fan and control, with 40%, 70% and 100% can be controlled. These can be connected to two other fans.

Let us build a little hardware.

All parts are well sorted and packaged separately, depending on usage. The guide covers the necessary steps are well explained. Very practically, we find the small adapter for the motherboard pins, which can now be attached with a Phillips screwdriver. As you can see here, well, there is no separate chambers inside or unnecessary cross braces. The motherboard also has built around it after plenty of room for cables and connectors. The right of the board can be moved all the cables through the rubber openings. Even at the extra-long graphics cards was intended. Both the GTX590 and Radeon 6990 fit in here.

Very simple and no tools to allow the drives installed. Both the fixed hard disks, as well as the DVD drives in a few seconds. The hard drives are simply plugged into the flexible frame and slid into the frame. The DVD drives are only just moved from the front in the slot and secured to the lifting mechanism. The front must not be removed.

The power unit is installed at the bottom. This is due to four anti-vibration rubber to intercept unwanted sounds. Is fixed with four screws, as always. Here too was prepared for the extra cable suitable outputs to the rear side wall. There, about 3 inches square of thick wire has been left behind.

Here you can see the hidden cable not only the connections. Both the thick 24-pin power connector, as well as the 12V supply fit well behind the wall board. This leaves only the plug. Looks good, makes a perfect air flow. Also on the front audio and USB ports as was intended. Here were also holes left blank. If all the hardware is installed and all cables are connected, it should look approximately like us, well placed and well lit.

Now we come to the final words.

Housing are numerous manufacturers and their models are currently a dime a dozen. Since it is difficult for customers to find in advance for the best model. An important factor is the appearance, size and the space inside. But the extra little touches are welcome. Unless the price is right, you can take the desired model in the shortlist. Especially when the scores look H2 NZXT Classic Silent on all levels, but not only there!

    Processing:

The quality of workmanship can be seen only if one has the case for several days in use. At first glance, everything fits, but some details have also disrupted. Positive were the well-functioning side doors, which were close to perfect. Very commendable is the 3 cm distance from the right side door. There a lot of cable fits in between.

Not like we have the finger-screws which are painted as easy to start, that one hardly recognizes the meaning of these screws. Tool goes here without anything. That are too thick, you can see the latest at loosening the screws, if all the color goes down and sometimes the thread breaks. Also the rubber for the cable outputs are too soft. Once you put a cable through, you put the rubber from the fixation.

Also, the two lids on the top are not of the highest quality. The damper for the HDD is very loose and cheap. Worse, however, we find the cover for the optional 140 mm fan. The magnets are too weak and when you arrive again shifts to them all.

    Layout:

The inner workings and the construction of the housing is well designed and very well managed. The focus was definitely on the internal ventilation, which was put into practice well. The three 120 mm fans are valuable, especially because they are adjustable in 3 steps. It was thought of many details that are then later in hardware installation and daily use very convenient.

    Installation:

The hardware installation was generally seen to cope easily and without major hurdles. Except for the Finder screws us all well liked.

    Equipment:

The equipment is actually the Tower itself, there are built into the housing so many extras that can be discovered only after a certain time and learns to appreciate. Importantly, three 120 mm fans are, optional 2 fans can still be upgraded. Dust has one on the bottom at the front of the power supply and fan. A big feature is the fan controller and the insulation of the front and two side walls.

    Volume:

Thanks to the fan control, the three 120 mm fans, and all other fans that are connected to the control, are controlled. This is a great and important advantage. Thus, the desired volume can be regulated at the level of "very low". The insulation also makes himself pleasure, although the beginning looked very cheap. But at least if one goes into operation, it is clearly seen a big difference.

    Price:

Terms of price, you move to the 100, - €, depending on stock level and dealers. This is also the pain threshold for attractive and functional mid-tower, which has not been exceeded here. Price / performance fit here anyway.

Our opinion: Very nice and handy case!

    Pros:
    + Layout
    Ports on top + front
    + USB 3.0
    + Room layout inside
    Three 120 mm fans +
    Fan controller + 3 steps
    + 2 optional fan sites
    + Quick closures CD, HDD
    Price +
    + Insulation
+ Plenty of space for cable

    Cons:

    - Processing thumbscrews
    - Processing covers
    - Rubber for cable are too soft, too loose
