Yes alot of big companies here in cebu uses c++, for example Lexmark, NCR, NEC, and many more companies.

I think C++ is not used heavily in Cebu. The reason: C++ is usually used for advanced programs such as PC games, OS utilities, and device drivers. Cebu doesn't have many IT companies like Silicon Valley, so most of the companies here are using PHP or .NET (or naay gamay Java).

I think it's not an exaggeration to say that less than 20 companies use C++ here in Cebu...

C++ is pretty much alive. But in Cebu, most companies are using higher level languages and scripting..
