@josh - I wont... wouldnt even push it just to forget someone. It would not only hurt the one your forcing yourself to love.. but also your hurting yourself.
Only a fool would be happy by forcing oneself to forget. They always say instead of ruining it why not fix it, that is if u know that you love that person and only time can tell and can fix things so hang on with that someone u love, you dont get to love and be loved and meet the person everyday u know. No rush in loving in Gods time it will be alright.
Wait till you can forget then by all means love the same or love another

If you feel that you really have to then, I presume that the feeling isn't mutual (anymore) or it could be that this is another complicated relationship. If the latter is the case you can go on loving but not necessarily forget. Loving without expecting anything in return is perhaps the truest form of love- weird thought, easier said than done. If your case is the former and you'd want to be out of that complication, then perhaps you can lie to yourself and welcome the nightmares in broad daylight. cause the pain is just unbearable anymore. i still love her but she doesn't want me no more or i guess. i tried to get away from her but our friends and her family always pulls me back.

Never ever force yourselft to love/like someone with that reason. Try to put yourself in that situation. How will you feel if you knew that the reason why that person loved you is because of that? Would you be happy? Whatever the reason, maybe it wasn't meant to be. Learn from your past relationship. Give yourself some time to heal the wound. Enjoy being single. Once you feel that you're healed, try to love again.
