listen, this is not a hate thread. Since I see a lot of fundamentalists around here recently, so im thinking why not make a thread for them, a thread that provides a space where we can examine their Theology and let's see if it is as they claim it to be as the only answer for questions that concerns with Religion and Spirituality.

let's start discussing this part...

Salvation is By FAITH ALONE.

after this let's move on to topics like Soli Scriptura, Covenants...etc...

if you think you have it...start hitting those keys...

Salvation by FAITH ALONE or known as Sola Fide is...The doctrine of sola fide or "by faith alone" asserts God's pardon for guilty sinners is granted to and received through faith, conceived as excluding all "works", alone. All humanity, it is asserted, is fallen and sinful, under the curse of God, and incapable of saving itself from God's wrath and curse(wikipedia)

I say this is half true.

Faith alone can not save us,good works must be there too for Salvation to take effect.

sorry but i don't accept youtube videos. you kinda confuse me bai, you want to become an apologist and yet you don't educate yourself with the rules concerning apologetic, any well grounded apologist knows that videos like these are inadmissible when you are asked to explain your argumentation.

AND any decent apologist knows that when you are asked to defend your position you don't ask your professor to do it for you. By the way what you are doing now is what we call "Appeal to Authority" w/c is by the way a logical fallacy.

Good work is a manifestation of true Faith.
If you have true faith, good works will follow. That's why Good works is Not indicated or mentioned as a requirement because its automatic if you have true faith in God.

You can do good works without any Faith at all - So there is a chance a person will Do good things because its a requirement for salvation but actually he doesn't have any Faith at all - But you cannot apply that situation on Faith.

Theres a chance that a person dont have any chance or time or capability to do good works But theres No way you can say that on Faith because Faith is in the Mind and heart.
