We are currently looking for a qualified System/Network administrator
that is willing to work full time from home. Please find the details below.


Requirements:

In this position the individual will be responsible for Linux systems
administration including file system layout, backups and resolution of
complex systems related incidents. The individual will work closely with the
other infrastructure areas such as DBA. This position requires an individual
with a strong technical foundation and superior analytical skills. The
individual also needs to be able to communicate effectively in all formats
and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver
high quality output within tight timelines.

Responsibilities:

Linux system administration role will include:

o Installation and Upgrade (using Kickstart)
o Account Management
o Filesystem Management
o Services and process management
o Performance Monitor and Tuning
o OS patching
o Installation of System Tools and Packages


Required Skills and Experience

Linux Systems Specific

• 3+ years experience as Linux Systems Engineer supporting large
applications in a complex, heterogeneous production environment.
• In depth knowledge of Red Hat Linux/Cent OS Linux.
• Experience with VMWare. Advanced shell scripting, perl etc.
• Knowledge of Internet protocol experience with troubleshooting network
problems in configurations and software, and experience with distributedcomputing
• Performance Tuning, optimization, and advanced troubleshooting of Linux systems Issues
• Knowledge in Various Backup/Recovery Methodologies and Strategies
• Familiarity with various tools and methods for administering the Linux
Systems infrastructure.

Other Skills and Experience

• Experience with MySQL database, HA-Linux.
• Excellent written and oral skills
• Ability to operate independently.
• College degree or equivalent work experience
