Photowalk downtown Cebu City

When: May 21, 2011 (Saturday)
Rendezvous: 1:30PM at Mc Donald's (Jones)
Who can attend: Open to both amateur and professional photographers. No registration fee of course.

What to bring

• dSLR
• Lens (Depending on your style. Some like it wide, some mid while some like to use telephotos)
• Water
• Money (for incidentals)

You must have the following if you want to join.

• You must have enough water with you to avoid dehydration.
• Proper footware is required. I recommend proper walking shoes.
• Cap or Hat. Protection against the heat of the sun and makes it easier to view through the camera viewfinder.
• Water - double post? Yeah, just to make sure you bring one with you.

Important things to consider & remember.

• We are going downtown Cebu City. Although it is day time, it doesn't mean we are 100% safe. So no bling-blings! (necklaces, bracelets, watches, earings, rings..)
• Do not stray away from the group. We move by pairs and we regroup every corner of the street.
• Keep your mobile phones inside secure pockets or bags. No talking or texting with your mobile devices while we are in the streets. If you really have to, then inform your buddy/pair.
• Do not change your lens without assistance. Always ask for help when changing lens. This is for your personal safety and for your equipment as well.
• Always wear a smile in your face. Be friendly to the people around you. This will help avoid negative attention towards our group.
• Minors can only join if they are accompanied by their parents or guardians.

Disclaimer[*]The downtown area is generally safe. But it doesn't mean we can be careless. By joining this photowalk you have confirmed that:

• You are of legal age.

• That you are aware of the possible dangers of the city streets.
• That the IPC officers and its members are not responsible for any loss or damage to your equipment.

A PRIME LENS CHALLENGE HAS BEEN ISSUED TO ALL ISTORYA.NET PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB MEMBERS WHO WILL JOIN THE PHOTOWALK.
IPC members are only allowed to use prime lens for this photowalk. It doesn't matter what focal length as long as its a prime lens. Non-members who will be joining the photowalk may use whatever lens (focal length) they like.

kung walay prime lens. pwede ra zoom lens pero tape nato sa focal length of your choice.
