    Default Liqour and Spirits

Just want to start discussion about liqour and spirits.
Unlike in Luzon, VisMin seemed to have a different prefence
In Luzon, Ginebra San Miguel's products especially its Bilog, GSM Blue and Matador are the market leaders in their respective categories. However, here in VisMin, it's Tanduay. When a person says lapad or long neck, it means a Tanduay product. Tanduay in VisMin is like what colgate is to the toothpaste industry years ago; kodak to cameras; and, xerox to photocopying machines.

Do drinkers from VisMin and Luzon have different tastes?

it started from the availability, tanduay has been available in the market longer than gsm blue and matador.
second the target market, example. younger people prefer RDH to SMB. gsm blue for instance is targeted to a much younger market "yuppies" look at their commercial.
and third is preference, for me i prefer emperador to tanduay and stay away from matador. why? matador has too much of the sweet note and i find it hard to enjoy a drink on the long run while your throat gets irritated. not to mention that awful hangover heehee.
