do the google before asking
and about the treat, i strongly sugest hotdogs.. cut it to small pieces lang..
Training with Food as reward is effective. As of now I use Bearing chicken biscuits one large jar about 200php. I break it into 3 pcs. para sulit jud(the 350g jar has about almost a hundred pcs. guro estimate lang nko)
Yes daghan sa youtube
Share lng ko as intro to training:
Pinakabasic and eZiest to teach is SIT:
Once you have the treat let the dog smell the treat. Surely attention of the dog will be glued to you
Push back the dogs rear back down gently then say "SIT" and give the treat. Purpose ani ma.associate sa dog ang sit position = treat Don't always say sit nya wla xa nimo g.guide or wla xa sa Sitting position this will confuse the dog. Make it to a point to the Dog's perspective nga Black and White ra, meaning keep it simple for the dog to understand.
But dont always give food/treats once the dog learns the trick, since it will diminish the value of food praising the dog would be a form of reward too. Don't prolong the training to much 5-10 minutes a day is OK. Prolonged training usually leads to boredom.
yes, i agree with the hotdog suggestion. they work pretty well. that's what i used before. now i am using jerhigh treats. they are like jerky sticks and the smell is so strong, murag apil aku gusto mu kaun. hahahaha. anyway, they are in dry form and come in resealable packs so its easy to keep and bring around. i usually cut the sticks to about 1inch in length and use that to get their attention.
Clicker is also effective. It works fast with my dogs.
