INCRIMINATOR AUDIO PRODUCTS
Spring Break Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida is one of the biggest car stereo competitions in the United States every year. A record number of spectators, competitors and exhibitors were in attendance for the 2009 competition. It comes to no surprise that Incriminator Audio would take the show by storm. IA decided it was time to pull out all the stops for this massive show.
The beautiful and talented Kendra Rice was introduced as Incriminator Audio’s official spokes model and was at the show signing posters showcasing her photo with the 2009 IA subwoofer lineup. While at the show, Kendra was interviewed by television host Buzz Thompson for FloridaSPL.com’s video channel. If you would like to meet Kendra in person you can expect to see her modeling in the IA booth at several large shows coming soon around the United States.
It is a sad day to see the world famous competition truck, “The King of Bass” being retired from dB Drag Racing’s Bass Race format. However, it was great for the IA booth, because now Tommy McKinnie can demo this monster all weekend and not be worried about competing. With 24 12” IA KOB series subwoofers and 12 IA20.1 amplifiers, Tommy demoed 160+db to music at several different occasions throughout the show and drew a massive crowd each time. As if his demoing was not impressive enough, the King finished up the show with a song that blew the windshield and not only sent glass shards flying out, but also blew the upper seal to the windshield!!
It was only fitting that the King himself be at the show to introduce his new line of subwoofers that Incriminator Audio produced specifically to fit his truck called the King of Bass edition subwoofers. Before Tommy installed the new subwoofers in his truck, he swapped at least 6 of them because of failure at every show. With the new subwoofers, failure is almost non existent. The KOB edition subwoofer is rated conservatively at 1000 watts RMS and is available in 12”, 15”, and 18” sizes.
One of the major developments that Incriminator Audio has been working is the “Warden” project. This Neodymium motored monster has been merely a rumor on the online car stereo forums for the last 5 years. IA decided it was time to let the cat out of the bag and unveil the 21” IA Warden at SBN. This beast was a show stopper, and honestly generated so much traffic in the booth that Kendra Rice was jealous! The Warden’s motor structure features six round column magnets with 130oz of neo. To put this in to perspective, the magnetic strength of the Warden motor is equivalent to over 2 Death Penalty motors. The release date on these is tentatively the first half of May and is available in 12”, 15”, 18” and the massive 21”.
A new area of competition for Incriminator Audio is the unique world of Sound Quality competition. The newly released IA Flatlyne edition sound quality subwoofer is taking the SQ arena for a wild ride. Long time SQ competitor and world champion Andy Jones has been quoted saying, “The Flatlyne is the truth. I've done SQ for a stupid long time and it is the best sounding sub I've ever heard. Amazing.” Look to see these subwoofers in several new sound quality competition vehicles in the near future.
