anyway, if that's the case:

ya it's important to keep your boss's favor, no doubt. BUT, if you really think about it, if you kiss ass he will respect you less. he may like it when you do this and do that for him, but at the back of his mind, he will think he can just manipulate you...hence, less respect.

for me, establishing boundaries is the key. when he hands you something late in the day, tell him that you would be able to work on it the next day when you are not physically exhausted. besides, does he want sloppy work? nah. or you can tell him that you are working on an important item or project. then ask him, "do you want me to postpose this one sir for this new one?" He has the overall responsibilities anyway, so if he doesnt know how to delegate effectively, then he should suffer the consequences! makalagot sad ning imong boss oi. nagbukal na akong dugo karon da.

and oh, you're thinking of resigning na diay sa? why not give it one last chance bro see if he can respect boundaries. then if dili jud then you'd be happier somewhere else. reason for resignation would be like "to pursue work opportunities that would mean promotion in terms of responsibilites and compensation". hmmmmm this sounds familiar to me hehe

tonz, naa man jud mga supervisors ing-ana jud ang attitude. as an internal auditor of my company working, mao na among trabaho like we have to look for the supervisors faults, what I mean is in sales department. I have many salesman from different parts of the philippines nga ing-ana jud ang ila attitude. among buhaton is we gonna have a spot audit on him. kung mo-balibad siya og audit, naka-violate siya og company policy.
