CDR King: Out of Stock of CDs and DVDs

CDR King, a local Philippine company known in the market as a cheap place to purchase blank CD/DVDs and other items, has suddenly stopped stocking up on both blank DVD and CD media. Have you recently walked in CDR King or passed by the store and noticed that there aren’t any lines or anyone crowding up the entrance? CDR King has finally run dry of both DVD and CD blank media.

I did some research and I asked around a few stores, IT Park and Ayala Center, in Cebu as to why they aren’t selling blank CD/DVDs. As expected none of the sales ladies had the slightest idea. I decided to call up the stock inquiry number found on the website of CDR King and I was gladly entertained by an employee there.

He stated that most nationwide stores are low or do not have stock in blank CD and DVD media. As a curious human being, I asked why. He stated that CDR King had problems with their supplier and that he couldn’t go into detail about it.

lisoda ani oi.... ana jud na basta negosyo... mgka problema jud...... pero, dghan na jud raba'ng mga taw na kusog mu palit aning ilang mga CD's..... Murag diha sila na sikat kay cheap kaayo ilang baligya....

i hope they'll get to fix it anytime soon.. luoy ra man ang mga consumers pud....

There are hundreds of suppliers in China who offer competitive rates. I just don't buy their excuse that they are having problems with the supplier. It has something to do with the government I presume.
