Hey guys, this was quoted from the Diner's club thread. I'm not sure what has been put together since that was posted. And I didn't bother to read any of the other posts because my eyes hurt when I read a lot on the computer. But I suggest we do a weekly potluck. And there we can figure out what places to go to for foodtrip. It doesn't have to be a strictly "u have 2 be there" event, if u cant go every week thats ok.

The point is, I wanna create a situation where people who may or may not be mainly food lovers can get together socialize, chill, enjoy food, and meet new people.

This helps a lot, from simply just improving your social life, to helping u network for business, to meeting new friends, of course to being able to share recipes and/or taste the kind of food everyone else brings. There can be a meetup for anything else in the world but a meetup for food is the most universal, because everyone has to eat.

I'm gonna handle all the responsibilities in setting this up. All except one...the venue. I live in a boarding house, and I'm not allowed to use the place for a get together. I'm currently looking for a place to hold it, and maybe somebody here can help, remember, all I need is a place, the rest is on me.

So if anybody has a place we can use, it would really be appreciated.

If someone has a place but would like it rented out, thats fair, PM me so we can discuss that.
