I'm wondering which football clubs Istoryans support. I've been a Manchester United fan since they days of Cantona in the club.

What about you guys?

Pagkahibaw nako aning football, I was rooting for Ajax at first 1995-97.
Grabe to ka lig-on ilaha (DeBoer Twins, Van der Sar, Litmanen, Kluivert, Overmars...)

It was a time when more than half of the Dutch NT starting line up was playing with Ajax.
Same as Barcelona with Spain today.

Pero pagkadisband sa ilang team nahimo na man noon silang farm team sa ubang big clubs.

Then I found Manchester United and never looked back... lolz

thats because all of ajax's great players kay paliton sa teams from bundesliga, serie a, la liga, premier league...

di lang ni kay sa ajax ra nahitabo... ang mga clubs from other european countries that used to be great (steau bucharest, anderlect, etc. sakto ba spelling? hehehe...) di na ka feature sa champions league because nahurot na ang mga maayo nga players ug palit...

imagine if ajax still had sneijder, heitinga, van der vaart, zlatan, jan huntelaar, babel, peinar, suarez, etc... sus... champions league after champions league jud unta...

pero ok ra kay IMO, ajax has the best academy... they will continue to produce another great players...

ga-huwat ra gihapon ko sa next champions league trophy nila... it's been 16 years since their last one...

i wont be surprised if stekelenburg will leave ajax this summer to replace van der sar at old trafford...

mao gyud, their academy is one of the best, if not the best, youth academy in europe...

pero mao lagi murag wa na silay ambition mo champion sa CL... ila na lang ipamaligya ilang mga "products"....

Dako man gud ila makuha kung ila ipamaligya ila players, naa pa gyud na contract clauses nga pag ang team nga gibaligyaan nila makasulod sa European competitions.
